Goodbye 2012. I’m looking forward to 2013 and the most appropriate song that I can think of to blast tonight is… Florence + The Machine: Shake It Out
Lana Del Rey’s “Ride” is on serious repeat this evening.
Yeah. So if you follow me on Twitter (cough, seriously you should be following me on Twitter) you will already know that last night was, like, incredible.
Tones and I hit the Madonna concert at the Air Canada Centre and it was pretty epic. It was the 10th time that I’ve seen Madge in concert over the years (my 3rd time seeing her front row) and for me it will always remain one of her most memorable productions. Yes, she may have called me “cute” at the Re-Invention Tour in 2004, but last night… the true highlight was singing ‘Like A Prayer’ into HER mic!
Watch below… you can see me in all my manic glory (along with Tones) singing into her mic.
Expect non-stop talking about the front row experience to follow.
Madonna’s video for Turn Up The Radio was released this morning.
High-waisted leather Balmain shorts, boobs pushed up in a La Perla by Jean Paul Gaultier push-up bra, seriously towering Louboutin pumps, a pair of Tom Ford cat eye sunglasses and ‘ 60s-style hair anchored by a black headband. Love.
I’m (obviously) in love with Kylie’s new track…
Madonna’s “Girl Gone Wild” video is a gay sensory overload.
I mean it’s basically… Vogue + Erotica + Kazakay + Mert & Marcus = Awesome!
My current obsession? Lana Del Rey’s Born To Die album.
The 1950s-inspired b&w video for one of my favourite tracks on the album was released today…
I think I like the video because it reminds me of 80s Aussie soap Return to Eden with it’s crocodile-infested pool. Anyone? Anyone?
I simply can’t turn the volume up loud enough for this song today.
One of my recent faves from one of my all time fave.
New York by Snow Patrol
Can’t wait to see the show when they hit Toronto in April.
