About Christopher Turner

Christopher Turner is a lifelong fashionisto who got a taste for the glamorous life during his stint as a model in Milan and New York. Not just a pretty face, Christopher has an Honours B.A. in Literature from the University of Toronto and eventually gave up modelling for writing. Today he is a well-respected fashion and style writer whose thoughts and opinions have appeared in a number of diverse publications including: 29Secrets, AmongMen, SavvyMom, Complex, Highsnobiety, IN Magazine, Bustle, Hollywood Reporter, Who What Wear, MSN, Fashion Television, FASHION Magazine, Fashion 18 Magazine, CBC, Toronto Life, Saturday Night Magazine, Toronto Sun, Sotherby's INSIGHT Magazine, Huffington Post, DesignLines, New York Magazine, Nylon, Glam Canada, Fab Magazine, Kaboose, and Disney.

Currently, Christopher is the Editorial Director at Ideon Media in Toronto, overseeing overall editorial direction on sites including: Complex Canada, 29Secrets, AmongMen, and SavvyMom.

An award-winning writer, Christopher recently won the SILVER award in February 2026 at the Canadian Online Publishing Awards for ‘Best Column’ for his THE STORY OF column on 29Secrets. It’s the fifth consecutive year that he has won the award for the much-read column.

Oh yeah… Christopher has a collection of designer kicks that would make Imelda Marcos blush and he lives in Toronto’s trendy east end.
